well now that the ladies have started the ball rolling & are going to ride the whole distance of the 2013 tdf what about the senior men having a go to i will put my hand up to give it a go iz there any one else out there in the cycling world care to join me ( you have to be over 65 ) so i can keep up with you !!! c ya jonty

I love what you have been doing and have been following your story. Cycling is a very male dominated sport, so it is good to see women out there making a stance in the sport. Well done and all the best. Maybe next year!!!

I am in Australia, and only found out about this journey/project after googling for information about female cyclists in the Tour de France. I am gobsmacked that this has not received any press in my country.

Congrats to both the riders and the crew. You all deserve it.

The sponsors knew --- that is how she wrote before the ride. Kate Powlison and Kristen Peterson also blogged. From reading the blogs and following the Twitter feeds, I gather there was some "mean girls" interaction going on. That would be unfortunate. Regardless, completing the route is a huge accomplishment for the entire Reve team, not just the 6 women.
